Why Design Engineering?
I like building stuff. What other answer is there?
Being a multifaceted engineer who can bridge the gap between a spark of imagination and a tangible contraption is exciting. Design sketching, computer aided-engineering, manufacturing, software development, prototype testing are all elements of a project that make it so appetising.
The marriage of design thinking and technical engineering is a discipline I am invested within as I feel it is essential for bringing about innovation.
The future is a malleable concept, it is clear that engineers hold the hammer. I see the extraordinary things engineers are doing and I want to be a part of it.
